JosephGLevitt says: Ya know....I can't pick one, we've done like a hundred! I really enjoy every day. But the one you need to see is the season finale, coming up soon - it's an hour, and William Shatner guest stars.
ILoveJoeyGL asks: You're a role model for young actors. How do you handle that, how does it feel? Who are YOUR role models?
JosephGLevitt says: I disagree with the whole concept. Society makes people role models who don't deserve it, and doesn't with those who do. We have camera's following Monica Lewinsky... yet, teachers in my school have a really hard job worthy of our time, and they don't get any recognition that they deserve.
SparKaL asks: Are you going to be on any talk shows soon? I saw you on Regis and Kathy Lee.. it was pure jokes!! :)
JosephGLevitt says: Yeah, I think you missed them..I was on quite a few. Unless they rerun. Talk shows kinda have to joke around, b/c you need to to keep it interesting.
guest346 asks: Last night Larisa mentioned that you were a musician, and that you mixed your own songs. I'm curious, what kind of music do you like to play and what hardware/software do you use to produce your stuff?
JosephGLevitt says: I use a rolins VS1680. I play all sorts of stuff, everything. Blues & rock & funk & jazz. Older style stuff.
guest319 asks: What do you think about producers who go to find a "street kid" on the street rather than hire a young actor already in the business for the role?
JosephGLevitt says: It totally depends. Sometimes it can yield excellent actors, sometimes it's stupid. Often a casting director thinks anyone under 20 can't act,so they find a kid who IS the character. It all depends on the situation tho. I'm a perfect example, I play an alien, and started that when I was 14. I assure you, I am terrestrial.
GoldfishBW asks: Was the movie you did with Samantha Mathis called Sweet Jane ever released? Do you know if it's available on video?
JosephGLevitt says: It was never released, it was only at festivals. I did it 3 years ago, and it's one of the main things I'm proud of. There's no distributor now, write letters asking for it!
CGA asks: what is your favorite movie of all time?
JosephGLevitt says: It's pointless to try and pick one. I love the Cohen brothers. Every movie they've done. Last year: Happiness, Hurley Burley, Your Friends & Neighbors, The Big Lebowski to name a few.
Zena16 asks: Joseph, in what ways are you similar to or different from the character you portray on the screen (Cameron)?
JosephGLevitt says: I'm rather different. Tho, similarities. We look exactly alike.

JosephGLevitt says: I like to consider myself a realist. Plus, Cameron falls in love with a girl the first time he sees her. Also, you can lunk down 7.50 and see Cams life, and you can't do that with mine...and I DO recommend you see 10 things!

JosephGLevitt says: Just 2 days ago I finished the last episode of 3rd Rock, I'm going to school now.

JosephGLevitt says: I had a good time! The questions are really patronizingly easy however. If they ask me tho, I'm game man!
GoldfishBW asks: Did you and Larry Miller already know each other before doing the movie, since he was in an episode of "3rd Rock"?
JosephGLevitt says: Actually, that ep was shot after 10 things....so it was the other way around. The same with Larissa, btw.

JosephGLevitt says: It depends. Anywhere from 8-13. Long days can be longer
SouthernJewel asks: Do people treat you differently cause you're on tv and stuff? I mean here you are chatting with tons of people listening, Does it make you feel weird?
JosephGLevitt says: Yeah.

JosephGLevitt says: They are completely different, and it's different audiences. I like a live audience & enjoy them both. It's like apples & oranges.
aashby12 asks: What do you think of all of the new young stars that are playing such a major role in today's films.
JosephGLevitt says: The teen film trend is kind of sad in a way. You get one good movie, like Scream, and then you get a bunch of biz execs who say "That made money", so they try and replicate it and put out mediocre crap. It's sad, cause they think teens can't tell the difference. Before 10 Things I read a LOT of crappy scripts, and thought I wouldn't do a movie until I found 10 Things. It was based on Shakespeare, and that's awesome. I think if you see our movie you can really tell the difference between us and a few movies that shall remain nameless that were awful!

JosephGLevitt says: I was 12! Glad you liked that.
m.j.g. asks: Which actor would you most like to work with? Actress?
JosephGLevitt says: There's so many! Tons.....pick any great actor. There's plenty I don't want to work with, but they'll remain nameless.
green'sgirl asks: how come h2o Halloween was so short of a movie? -i was looking forward to seeing more of you!
JosephGLevitt says: Well, I'm glad... When I did that movie I only signed on for the first five minutes, I was doing 3rd rock at the time.... They told me: Work for a few days, get money, and get an ice skate in your face. " How could I pass that up.
KRB1978 asks: I've heard you can play the guitar and drums, can you sing too?
JosephGLevitt says: I dunno, can I sing? Can Tom Waite sing, he's one of my fave's, and a lot of people think he can't sing. Everyone needs to go out and buy raindogs by Tom Waite.
Joey134 asks: i read that you looked at colleges on the east coast. Do u plan to go to any of them?
JosephGLevitt says: Probably.

JosephGLevitt says: Not sure if mobbed is the right word. People have weird reactions. Some are gracious, others are idiots and incredibly rude. They can be bothersome at times. Next time you see someone you know from TV, just walk up and say I like your work. And if you don't like it, don't say anything. Oh - and don't whisper, we have ears and we CAN hear you!

JosephGLevitt says: I took a great trip to Kosovo. It's beautiful, nice resorts.

JosephGLevitt says: I only became an actor so that one day I could do some online chats! Acting means nothing to me. I predicted the whole Internet when I was six, and said : Man, I better start acting now to get my chat 11 years from now!

JosephGLevitt says: Act.

I'm no more an actor b/c I'm famous. If you meant I wanna be famous, take all you 'N Sync Albums, set them on fire, and go buy raindogs by Tom Waite.

JosephGLevitt says: Sure it does. What kinda question is that, the important thing is...there's a buncha movies to see this weekend, but God as my witness, 10 Things is better. I mean, it's got me, and what's better than that! They are telling me to close now. So, if 10 Things isn't the box office #1 hit this weekend, I'm holding you ALL personally responsible!
